PLM Systems was an active partner in the National Research Project C.A.S.P.ITA
(appliCazioni di supporto alle Aziende di Sviluppo Prodotto ITAliane), aimed at the implementation of an ASP (Application Service Provider) approach for Italian SMEs (Small Medium Enterprises).
The Goal of the program is the implementation of an environment able to offer on the same portal a set of tools partially available and partially to be developed according to the needs of the Small Medium Enterprise. The tools focus on product/process development, management of drawings and
documents, project management and integration with the other companies of the value chain (Mainly the leading company of the chain).
The most important features of the C.A.S.P.ITA environment:
