This area of Accenture helps clients leverage advanced technologies — such as the IoT, data analytics and artificial intelligence — to reinvent products and services from design and engineering to manufacturing and support, accelerating operational efficiency and enterprise-wide growth.

Working as part of Accenture Industry X.0, PLM Systems will continue to help our clients improve and develop their capabilities in New Product Development. We support the entire Product Life Cycle, from initial concept and design, through commissioning and production, until product implementation in the market. The PLM Systems and Accenture Industry X.0 teams have extensive experience and success in the Automotive, Aerospace, and Electronic, Mechanical and Plant Engineering industries. Together with Accenture Industry X.0, we will continue to collaborate with the most important systems integration companies to develop and expand our expertise in the realization of applications based on PDM / PLM products and leader market products of business process management.

MISSION

 

PLM Systems, now together with Accenture Industry X.0, operates in the area of Product Lifecycle Management, providing consulting services to manufacturing companies, whether multinational companies or medium-sized enterprises, in the automotive, aerospace, automotive, mechanics, electronic, plant engineering, fashion and consumer goods industries. 

PLM Systems provides methodological (NPD/NPI) and technological (PLM / PDM) solutions to support the development process of industrial products within “Extended Enterprise”: the first aims to improve the customers' product development process by reducing the time to market and costs, improving quality and increasing the success rate of new products; the latter allows to implement technical information systems for product data management of products with PLM technologies.

The characteristic that distinguishes our approach is the complete independence from technology providers (which allows us to help customers to choose the right software for their specific needs) and a "chain of skills" that allows us to work effectively with business stakeholders of various levels for the definition of the development strategies of the product, for the implementation of PLM projects, assistance and training for the practical use of the technology.
